“I left the bivouac this morning at 05’09 and I arrived at this evening’s bivouac in Cordoba almost exactly 12 hours later. That’s a pretty full day on the bike. Not an easy one either. I was expecting the special to be faster, but as it turned out I really had to work the bike hard with my legs through a lot of slippery corners. Thanks to my trainer Joel back in Andorra, and the long hours we did together, I was able to keep attacking all the way to the end.
