‘Big Bad’ Brad grew up in Berkley, California, USA with a passion for motorcycles and riding off-road that came from his father. Inspired as a teenager by some of Husqvarna’s most prominent Scandinavian riders, he came to Europe in 1972 to gain Grand Prix experience.

After two seasons as a privateer Brad won a contract with Husqvarna and teamed up with riders like Finland’s Heikki Mikkola and the Swede Arne Kring. What followed was more than a decade of riding at the top level on both sides of the Atlantic.
