XAVIER DE SOULTRAIT SEMPRE PIÙ VICINO ALLA VITTORIA DEL TRANSANATOLIA RALLY.

Day 6. Çiftehan-Karaman

Il copione del TransAnatolia rally sembra già essere scritto con Xavier De Soultrait, in sella a KTM 690, a rivestire il ruolo di protagonista sin dal prologo e staccando il miglior cronometro in tutte le speciali sin ora andate in scena.

La giornata odierna presentava una scaletta di 2 settori selettivi rispettivamente di 92 e 118 mentre la tappa totale di giornata, con i vari trasferimenti, era di 301 chilometri.

Nulla hanno potuto fare gli avversari sul gigante Xavier De Soultrait che sigilla il 1º settore selettivo con un tempo di 1h e 27 minuti lasciando dietro di sè Andrea Pighetti mentre il 3º miglior rider è stato di Ejder Erişti. Ancora una volta i piloti Azzurri hanno ben figurato rimbalzando numerosi nella top ten della 1ª PS con la 4ª posizione di Massiliano Guerrini, la 5ª di Michele Cotti ed ancora Massimo Ferrari, Gilberto Facco, Riccardo Vitali, Luca Zussino e Nicola di Piero.

Per quanto riguarda il 2º settore selettivo di 118 chilometri, raggiunto dopo un brevissimo trasferimento di 2 chilometri, Xavier De Soultrait ha dettato il passo e messo in bacheca la 13ª speciale vinta a questo TransAnatolia Rally. La 2ª miglior prestazione è stata del turco Ejder Erişti seguito dall’azzurro Michele Cotti.

Nicola Di Piero rimane leader nella classe bicilindrica ma deve mantenere la guardia alta da Murat Yazici con Ducati Desert X.

Continua anche il rally per Federico Butto’ e Martino Albertini su Can-Am con la prima posizione odierna in entrambe le speciali.

La classifica assoluta del rally vede Xavier de Soultrait in testa con ampio margine di vantaggio mentre rimane bagarre tra la 2ª e 3ª posizione tra Michele Cotti e Ejder Erişti a pochi minuti uno dall’ altro. Per ora l’argento è nelle mani di Michele Cotti, ma tutto può ancora cambiare.

Day 6. Çiftehan-Karaman

The plot of the TransAnatolia rally seems to have already been written with Xavier De Soultrait, riding a KTM 690, playing the leading role since the prologue and setting the best chronometer in all the specials tests so far.

Today the race presented a lineup of 2 special stage of 92 and 118 respectively while the total leg of the day, with the various transfers, was 301 kilometers.

The opponents could do nothing on the giant Xavier De Soultrait who seals the 1st stage with a time of 1h and 27 minutes, leaving Andrea Pighetti behind him in 2nd place, while the 3rd best rider was Ejder Erişti. Once again the “Azzurri” riders performed well in the top ten of the stage with the 4th position of Massiliano Guerrini, the 5th position of Michele Cotti and again Massimo Ferrari, Gilberto Facco, Riccardo Vitali, Luca Zussino and Nicola di Piero.

In the 2nd special test of 118 kilometers, reached after a very short transfer of 2 kilometers, Xavier De Soultrait set the pace and put on in his bulletin board the 13th special won at this TransAnatolia Rally. The 2nd best performance was by the Turkish Ejder Erişti followed by the “azzurro” Miche Cotti.

Nicola Di Piero remains leader in the twin-cylinder class but must keep attention to Murat Yazici with Ducati Desert X.

The rally for Federico Buttò and Martino Albertini on Can-Am also continues with today’s first position in both special tests.

The overall classification of the rally sees Xavier de Soultrait in the lead with a wide advantage; Michele Cotti and Ejder Erişti still fight for 2nd and 3rd position with a diifference of few minutes. Now, silver is in the hands of Michele Cotti, but everything can still change.
